Miss Texas - Tiffany Sherrell
Tiffany is a recent college graduate with a Bachelors of Science degree in Mass Communications.  While in school, Tiffany completed an internship with the Nashville Technology Council, was heavily involved with her sorority, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., and was a member of Savior-Faire Productions.  She also managed to supervise the banquets department at the DoubleTree Hotel, all while maintaining the grades she needed to keep her academic scholarships.

While being new to the pageant industry, within the past two years Tiffany has acquired three titles: former Miss Middle Tennessee Blue Raider, which lead to her participation in the Miss Tennessee Pageant, Miss Dallas United America 2009, and the reigning Miss Texas United America 2009. Tiffany is proud to represent the state of Texas at the United America Pageant in October.

The platform Tiffany diligently works for is the S.M.A.R.T (Skills Mastery and Resistance Training) Girls program. This program is dedicated to young girls ages 8 to 17 to help them with their physical, mental, and emotional well-being by discussing topics ranging from the dangers of peer pressure to understanding your self worth. Tiffany was involved with the program at her local Boys & Girls Club in Tennessee and had built several friendships with the members of the club.

Recently, Tiffany moved to Dallas to be closer to her father and other family members and is currently employed in the Healthcare Industry in Frisco TX.  She plans on continuing to pursue work in the Mass Communications area as well as continue her volunteer work at the Boys & Girls Club in the Dallas Metro Area.
